Brooke Easley lives in Walker, Louisiana and attends college at Southeaster Louisiana University. She created her first book, Helen the Unchicken Chicken, while attending Walker High School in Walker, Louisiana. Brooke attends church at Christ's Community Church in Denham Springs, where her father Willis Easely is the pastor. Helen the Unchicken Chicken became a reality as a result of her hard work and the efforts of her mother, Shannon.
