Willie Wright is the proud father of two boys, Willie Lee Wright III, and Wandell Larecio Wright. His youngest son, Wandell, won a spelling in the Second grade. As a prize he received a set of books: a dictonary, thesaurus, and a Spanish dictionary, the thesaurus was given to Willie Wright Sr. From there, Willie compared his thoughts to words, and began writing poetry.
