The Ouachita Writers' Guild is supported by SouthWest Artists, Inc., in Mena, Arkansas. The guild is a group of writers who work together and produce an anthology of short stories and poetry most years. Barbara M. Tobias is editor of these books. Profits from sales go to SouthWest Artists, a non-profit organization promoting the arts operating as Mena Art Gallery.
