About
Patricia Kirby
Patricia Kirby was born in 1939 at the beginning of World War Two, a dramatic introduction to the world. Her parents were both talented people with a love of music and writing which Patricia clearly inherited. As a young woman she wrote music/lyrics and poetry, many of her songs she recorded as a singer/songwriter but marriage and children put a halt to her musical ambitions until such time she was able to start writing again. Her mentors were Catherine Cookson, Denise Robertson and Barbara Cartland all of whom had faith in her ability, recommending her to their own agents for future contact.
