I am a semi retired Master Mariner having served with the British Merchant Navy for 43 years, 25 of which in command as Captain. I have also been a Pilot in the dim and murky past and still have an unshakable passion for aviation. I started writing around 5 years ago but only recently decided to publish my work. I am an enthusiastic and creative inventor who enjoys coming up with a crazy idea and trying to make it work. I love the challenge of developing an idea and seeing an invention come to life. I also have a great love of the environment, particularly the oceans. My passion at the moment is to develop a means of coast line protection which will prevent Tsunamis from causing death and destruction whenever they may strike.
