D.S. PHILLIPS is a translator, literacy teacher and church planter who holds multiple degrees in both Intercultural and Biblical Studies. He and his family have been living in Indonesia for nearly a decade, laboring to see unreached people groups have their first opportunity to hear about their Creator and what He has done for them. They have spent most of their time living and working among the very remote Dao tribe, a people group that before they arrived had no written alphabet for their dialect, not a single verse of scripture available to them and no church or religious organization of any type working among them. D.S. Phillips and his wife continue to live primarily in the remote jungles laboring to see the entirety of God’s Word translated into local languages and working to see tribal believers discipled and trained as teachers to their own people and other unreached areas.
