Rachel Nerice Red lives in Jurupa Valley California with her parents and younger brother. She attends Patriot high school and enjoys participating in the theater program. From a young age she enjoyed fantasy novels as well as the medieval era. She quickly became enthralled with mythology where Greek and Celtic stories captured her imagination. She enjoyed reading so much she thought one day, “Why can’t I do this?” With that she started writing. After a year she not only had the first draft of Lunessa finished but had five other works in progress along with two serials. She often drives her parents crazy with the amount of writing she does, they often complain about the five notebooks she keeps in her backpack in case inspiration should strike. Rachel loves to hear from people who have read her work and encourages anyone who has to email her with their thoughts about it.
