Ever since I was a child I knew that I wanted to be a writer in some form. I have very distinct memories of scribbling words down on paper and then imagining that I had created something very important. All types of writing hold my interest for various reasons. Over the years I have touched pen to paper as a reporter, poet, screenwriter and blogger. The act of writing has become a pivotal part of my life. I don't know where I would be without it. My published work may not make me rich and famous; that's not the point. It's finally to have the courage to complete what I've started. To see the stories, poems and pieces I have created finally reach publication. This is only the beginning of what I hope will be a great journey.
