I AM A WOMAN I AM A SISTER I AM A FRIEND I AM HER I am a reflection of my past, that was molded throughout experiences, to have a beautiful present and hopefully fruitful future. I love to write, but never had a subject. it was more so of write it down, tear it up, throw it away, and write again. I came across a beautiful woman Ms. Williams, and she stated to me "You write all day girl, what are you writing!? You need to just write a book". So here I am months later, having the opportunity to share with others my work and it feels amazing! I speak for the individuals that feel one sided when dealing with the incarcerated and being incarcerated. Though I have never been incarcerated, some of the people closest to me were and still is. I have prepared a collection of poems, turned it into a book and named it TWO SIDES OF A CELL. Everyone has a story to tell when their loved one is incarcerated... ...And while being incarcerated, there is always a story being told. Enjoy :)
