Sharla R. Jordan was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, ninth in a family of ten children. She graduated from Mountain View High School and Mesa Community College, with two associate degrees. She is currently enrolled at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah with a major in psychology and a minor in music. She resides in Kaysville, Utah with her husband and their six sons, four of whom are on the autism spectrum. Sharla loves her family, music, learning, and sharing her knowledge and experiences with others. She is passionate about helping her boys and others who work with those challenged by autism. This has motivated her to write this concise and easy to read book.
