Will Higley just completed his first short novel, The Golden Ring. This work is a work of fantasy for the younger reader. Will plans to write more books for the Golden Ring saga. Will is nine years-old and will start the fourth grade in the fall of 2011. He loves the Beast Quest series of books and because of them he was determined to write his own book of adventure and magic. Will told his parents in the fall that he was writing a book, his dad told him if he finished it he would see about getting it published and this is a result of that conversation. Will is a very imaginative kid. He invents things and can make something out of any old pieces of junk or trash. He recently created a game called Backtraker. Will lives in Idaho with two of his brothers and his parents. He loves to read, play computer games, and watch shows on Hulu. He loves sports and wants to run cross country for his dad when he gets in the 6th grade. His favorite football is team is the BSU Broncos.
