Hello! I grew up in a small town in central Mexico, and am now a senior art and biology major at Hamilton College, NY. I am passionate about art, visual media, and storytelling for a cause. I spent the summer of 2023 in the UK working on a documentary on the stories of asylum seekers and indefinite detention with Refugee Tales and my professor Robert Knight. As a 2024 Levitt Fellow, I recently self-published a book that explores Palestinian stories and visual culture through the materials of my family archive, which is listed here on Lulu under the title: "I Was Not There When You Were Born."
