Amator Dei is a seeker of truth who has devoted decades to the search for God by prayer, meditation and study. He can often be found near the shores of calm and shallow bays where prickly pear cactus and mesquite trees afford a perfect, ideal solitude. The author began his career as an architectural draftsman and is an alumnus of the School of Architecture at The University of Texas at Austin. He later held several positions in the field of information technology. Living for a time as a candidate at a Benedictine monastery within the United States, he returned to the world to follow the true calling of his heart.
