Studying Literatures of English at secondary school in Barbados sparked her passion for writing. She then strengthened her talent by studying Media, Journalism and Digital Arts in Vermont at the Bachelor's level. While a lot of her work reflects her interests in social issues, her favourite pieces to write are fiction.
