Ever since the fifth grade, Shane has been intrigued by creative writing and dreams of being a successful author one day. After coming up with the idea for "Maxaqtacca" in seventh grade, he began penning the work as a freshman in high school and finished the first part. Once he started attending Washington State University to get a microbiology degree, Shane's progress has been severely halted, but there yet lingers within him the burning embers of a passion to complete his first novel one day.
