I have been an educator for enough years that many would call it a career. But I've always wanted to write. Over the years I crafted stories from scratch to entertain and inspire my 5 children. They were great critics and always encouraging for more. However, one story took on a life of it's own and ended up as a novel for middle readers. It was great fun to actually write the whole story. One year for Christmas I surprised each of my now adult children with their own copy of "Bones" ... much to their delight. I have many other stories to tell and some of the characters are clambering for a life of their own. Maybe it's time to pull back the curtain and let them live.
