Caroline Dream has been writing tall tales since she was a little tyke stomping around in the marshland of coastal South Carolina. As a student she won local awards for poetry and short stories, then went on to pursue an education in music at the University of Maryland. There she became involved in the Department of Theatre, and her play "The Secretary General" was included in the department's Open & Styles series of student productions. After graduation she yielded to her sense of the wanderlust and went west, to the creative mecca of San Francisco, where she concentrated on her music career. In 2008 she and her partner, rapper JFP, took their own 3-month writing retreat in Amsterdam, NL, and out of that came a full-length play, "My Magic Elixir," and a novella entitled COMO.
