Hi! i am a 49 year young man from Manchester, England. I left formal education aged just 16 and had never written a book before until "A Pennine Adventure". Indeed i had never thought to write any but, given that my favourite pastimes are walking and entertaining people, writing about walking seemed to be the obvious solution. About myself well? I suffer from Coeliac Disease which means i have to keep to a strict Gluten Free diet! Hence my second book, a cookbook. Knowhere am i happier than when on top of a hill. Even as a small child i was inclined to wonder off. My mother recalls a frantic two hour search of Scarbourgh Castle when i was about four! I was eventually escorted down from the battlements by a policeman completely oblivious to all the fuss i'd caused! If you do choose to buy "A Pennine Adventure" or "Mrs Beswick's GF cookbook i hope you find them enjoyable. They are but the continuing adventures of that little boy.
