Lejla Becirovic is a Bosnian refugee, currently living in the United States and working as a hospice social worker. Having experienced the troubling time's people face in war, she has dedicated her life to the society around her. Lejla narrates her life through war while encountering various forms of grief. Lejla shares things that have helped her overcome losses in hopes of this book helping others that have encountered debilitating grief.
