David L. Kahn has been a lucid dreamer since childhood. His interests in dreams and consciousness brought him to the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD), where he has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. His presentations at IASD conferences have included the topics of the dreams of genocide survivors, technology used in dream work, and dreams related to diet and consumption of genetically modified foods. He is a third degree black belt in karate with interests in tai chi, meditation and Eastern philosophies.
