Branwen Drew has been writing poetry since 2018. She has had work published in Spillwords and in New York's Best Emerging Poets 2019: An Anthology. Her poems are inspired by coming out as a transgender woman in 2018. She is also a visual artist, essayist, and community activist. A lifetime resident of Upstate New York, she currently resides in Rome, NY with her spouse, Sarah and their fur babies, Torres the Cat, and Suzy the Chihuahua. She is a research librarian and one of the "New Voices."
