Bren Moore, Author of Neurodivergent Stories

Bren Moore is a teacher, school leader, and writer with over 27 years of experience in education. Through her work in the classroom and as a tutor, Bren has supported countless neurodivergent children, learning alongside them and witnessing their unique strengths and challenges. She has dedicated her career to advocating for and empowering those who think, learn, and experience the world differently. Her debut book, Stuff I Can’t Say Out Loud, explores the complexities of neurodivergence, self-expression, and finding one’s voice. The story is a tribute to the creativity, courage, and brilliance of neurodivergent children. Inspired by her own experiences with students, Bren’s writing offers a platform for those whose voices are often overlooked, encouraging readers to embrace their individuality. Bren’s latest book, Stuff That Won’t Stay Still, continues her mission to tell stories of neurodivergent kids who see the world differently. This new work takes readers on a journey with Joshua, a fast, loud, and curious young boy navigating the ups and downs of ADHD. With humor, heart, and plenty of chaos, Bren captures the whirlwind of thoughts and emotions that come with neurodivergence, showing that understanding and support are key to thriving. When she’s not writing, Bren runs a tutoring company, supports families, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology.
