Brent is an award winning actor/screenwriter, novelist, director and producer. He has appeared in over 30 American television series/films and won a Best Actor Leo Award for his chilling performance in FF Coppola's First Wave. His performance as Edgar Allan Poe in his first produced feature Poe - Last days of the Raven garnered a Best Feature Award at the Cinema City International Film Festival at Universal Studios and was he was nominated for a Best Director Gemini Award. His screenplays have been optioned by Janis Chaskin at New Line Cinema and A list producer Doug Claybourne . He is also the President of Theater Crossing Film Corp. dedicated to producing feature films that have a high literary element and a strong moral and ethical component. Theater Crossing’s feature film on Edgar Allan Poe’s life, Poe Last Days of The Raven, was nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Director for Mr. Fidler. It also won Best Feature Film at the Cinema City International Film Festival held in Los Angeles, run by Suzanne Du Laurentiis. Poe aired nationally on Bravo.
