As a dual citizen, Mr. Fidler currently commutes between Los Angeles and Vancouver. He has appeared in over forty American television series and movies, earning a best actor Leo Award for his chilling performance in Francis Ford Coppola's "First Wave." His performance as Edgar Allan Poe in his first produced feature, "Poe: Last Days of the Raven," garnered a best feature award at the Cinema City International Film Festival at Universal Studios in Los Angeles. Brent was also nominated for a best director Gemini Award. Personal career highlights include working with Al Pacino and Jessica Chastain in the intimate Culver Studios playing Pacino’s Pharisee in "Wilde Salomé" and a call-back at Warner Brothers for "The Tragedy of Macbeth" directed by Joel Cohen, reading opposite Frances McDormid. Brent has written "The 'Highly' Unusual Life of Edgar A" and "Raising the Conch — The Way of the Kundalini Goddess." His screenplays have been optioned by the late Janis Chaskin at New Line Cinema and studio producer Doug Claybourne. He is also the president of Theater Crossing Film Corp., dedicated to producing feature films that have a high literary element and a strong moral and ethical component.
