Charlie has written seven books, including colaborating with Bob Gorman and Peter Condon on Cleared Hot and Cleared Hot II, personal stories by Forward Air Controllers about their experiences in the Southeast Asia Wars and published by Lulu. Charlie is a historian at heart with a tender and loving side. He retired from the USAF and has since devoted his time to voluntary public service. He has been married to the same wonderful girl for 56 years and has two children, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
