About the author. chuckdaddy is the pen name of music composer, Charles Roland Berry. As a younger man, chuckdaddy made a living selling Classical and Jazz recordings, working for the Tower Records chain, then selling to Tower Records as a music distributor. By the 1990s, the physical record store business and the entire record industry collapsed. No one wanted CDs and LPs anymore. He found himself obsolete. Moving to the Seattle area from Berkeley, he took forty-three different sales jobs over a period of six years, whatever it took to pay the rent. During this time created a new opportunities for himself, using his knowledge of Classical music, and knowledge of Classical record labels, and his skill as a composer.
