Yvette Nachmias-Baeu is the author of three books, A Reluctant Life, won an honorable mention at the New England Book Festival and, Clara at Sixty, a fictionalized sequel to A Reluctant life. Her third book, Best Friends, is a memoir that takes the form of letters written to her best friend over a 27-year history starting in the early sixties. Her short story Sylvie appears in the anthology, Shoreline, and her essay, Not My Day to Die, is included in the 2015 book, Befriending Death. She lives and writes in rural Rhode Island.
