At heart, I’m just an everyday person who grew up knowing that I wanted to be an author someday. I have been writing poetry and short stories since elementary school. Life got in the way, and as a young adult, I let myself become so busy that I had to put aside writing for several years. I left a few novels that I had started by the wayside, and it is safe to say that for almost a decade I did no actual writing. After I reached thirty, life had evened out a bit and I was blessed enough to be able to pick up my writing again. I’ve finished three novels in the past year that were all stories I started years ago. My next goal is to write a book completely from scratch.
