About
Curtis Myer

Curtis Myer is an author with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest. Born and raised in La Grande, Oregon, Curtis draws inspiration from the region’s distinctive landscapes, communities, and history, as well as from his own experiences growing up in a house with a reputation for being haunted. His first book, Shadow of Fear, is a memoir based on his childhood experiences and the unsettling events surrounding the home in which he was raised. The book marked the beginning of Curtis’s journey as an author and his exploration of the stories and experiences that have shaped his life. Curtis later turned to fiction with The Silent Pines, a classic mystery and whodunit set in his hometown of La Grande, Oregon. His third book, Fugitive Colors, continues his work in mystery and suspense, taking readers on a compelling journey through Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. Curtis currently resides in Idaho with his wife. Outside of writing, he enjoys playing music, creating art, and camping. Together, they have three grown children, seven grandchildren, and a feline companion named Jazz. Through both memoir and fiction, Curtis brings a strong sense of place, an appreciation for the Pacific Northwest, and a lifelong fascination with mystery, suspense, and the stories hidden within ordinary lives and familiar places.
