Daniel Kington
Danny Kington is originally from the West Country and was raised partly in Australia. He has worked at a senior level in the spheres of social welfare and charity reform with a lucrative sideline as a professional artist specialising in caricature. In 1991 he walked out of his government office and signed on as one of the first foreign volunteers in the fledgling armed forces of Croatia. Injured twice, he was awarded the Homeland War medal in 1995 and later founded the Croatian Forces International Volunteers Association. Graduating with Honours from Brunel University, London in 2001, he is a supporter of the Royal British Legion. In 2011 he became the official face of the veterans’ charity. He is married and lives in Sussex.
