Mr. Sommer is the author of the “Surveillance Detection Specialist” a Counter Surveillance Manual, the “Terrorist Modus Operandi” a Counter Terrorism Manual and the “K&R Crisis Management” a kidnap and ransom crisis manual. He is co-author of "Security Awareness in Close Protection". He has Close Protection and Counter Terrorism experience from operations in Europe, The Middle East and Mexico and have taught courses for students from USA, England, Iceland, Norway, Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, Cyprus, Northern Ireland, Russia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Greece, Lithuania, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Macau and Yemen. As Director of Business Development & Chief Consultant at GEO, he has further managed security and protection projects in Djibouti, Egypt, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
