David W. McKibben was born and raised in Kokomo, Indiana. He took electrical engineering training at Purdue University before his traveling busker days, and earned a degree in Accounting from Ivy Tech in the early 2000s. He works as a caregiver for the developmentally disabled, and writes in his spare time. Mr. McKibben remains a musician and enjoys hunting native American artifacts.
