Dave Suggs, Jr. is a freelance writer and novelist who has written two novels, one of which built a fan base of more than 6,000 readers online before publication. He also has written a score of short stores, many of which have been published and one of which recently won an Honorable Mention in the Abbey Hill Literary Short Story Competition. He was also nominated for a GCE Writing Award, and has participated in writing groups and workshops. Having grown up reading C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien, and many other fantasy books, Dave Suggs, Jr. is dedicated to writing riveting, imaginative stories for children and teens. He believes strongly that to hold today’s youth long enough to send a Godly message, their imaginations must be satiated with new, innovative—and most importantly, wholesome—writing that teaches rather than preaches. Having four children himself and a wife who teaches, he has a firm grip on what today’s youth are looking for in their entertainment.
