I have been writing since I was eleven years old & I actually came second in the 1991 W H Smith young writers competition, writing has always been a passion of mine, creating powerful characters, landscapes & coming up with original & intriguing ideas, ever since reading the works of JRR Tolkien & C.S Lewis as a child I dreamt of emulating them but of course making myself an interesting, relevant & modern writer at the same time, attaining publication & even representation has been a tough call, it is very difficult to even get you're manuscript read by someone who has an important role within the industry, nevermind getting an agreement to have you're work published & so that is why I decided to head onto lulu.com to see if I could publish, market but more importantly sell my book myself, I've found that you can but it is very difficult.
