Della is a retired clinical manager from the British National Health Service. She has always secretly coveted the dream of becoming a writer and that dream is now her tangible and fulfilling reality. Her curious predisposition towards the exploration of both the human and the natural world's inner sanctuaries, are at the heart of her writings: plants, animals, landscapes, human behaviour and suffering as well as the joy of being alive in the present and the discovery of the past that surfaces as a languorous aspect of our existence. Her work would be incomplete without the further addition of her art, mainly watercolour illustrations which she creates as a source of meditation.
