Denise Jensen is the founder of Lighten Up Spirituality, a heart-led spiritual center devoted to helping others awaken, heal, and reconnect with their inner wisdom. With a passion for intuitive guidance, ritual, and soulful teaching, she has spent years supporting others through their personal journeys of transformation. Known affectionately as a “Spirit Sister” by her students, Denise is devoted to creating sacred spaces for spiritual discovery—whether through classes, community circles, or inspired workbooks like Awakening – A Beginner’s Guide to Spirituality. This workbook is part of her growing body of spiritual resources, each created to nurture the light within and help seekers feel guided, grounded, and seen. Denise has always walked a deeply spiritual path, guided by the loving presence of Chestial, her spirit guide, whose gentle wisdom and sacred companionship have shaped every step of this journey. This workbook, like much of her work, was co-created with Chestial’s divine inspiration. She formerly owned a metaphysical Book and Gift Store offering sacred tools, intuitive readings, and energetic healing through modalities such as Reiki and crystal chamber sessions. Her space also supported spiritual seekers and fellowship groups such as A.A., N.A., and healing circles—nurturing community and awakening across all walks of life.
