Jeffrey DeRego grew up in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He currently lives in Derry, New Hampshire. Creator of the Spaghetti and Writing writer's group, his wildly popular Union Dues stories have appeared in podcast audio format for at Escape Pod and Clonepod. A collection of those stories, Escape Clause, was published in 2010. In 2024 Jeffrey published the mosaic novel "Fleas." In 2024 he released "Union Dues: Team Shikaragaki Go!" a collection of short stories set in the Union Dues universe. 2024 also saw the release of "Park Place" a contemporary novel eight years in the making. Jeff's short stories have appeared in the New Hampshire Pulp Anthologies, the anthology Demigods and Demiurges in Space, and won have several contests at Tales of the Zombie War magazin.
