Haley is a fourteen-year-old author, who has been writing since she was about seven. She has written books from talking animals (mostly dogs) to hundreds of pages of vampire novels and dramatic teen novels. Haley likes to write in first person because she says that the narrator's feelings can sometimes be hers. However, she also enjoys writing in the third person, which is what her new series is written in. The Only Life I Own: Season One was published February 8, 2013. She is currently writing the second book. "It's way different from Diary of a Mortal," she says. "It's about teenage drama, and it's any kind of drama you see as a teen." Thellman wants to be realistic just as much as fictional. She wants to write something teenagers can, not only like, but relate to. Also, she is planning on writing the very last book to wrap up the Diary of a Mortal Series soon. Her picture is also the cover photo on books 2-5 of the Diary of a Mortal Series to represent the main character Molly Clark
