Writer, musician and lecturer, Duncan Hall, was born in Yorkshire in 1975. As well as his Brambleholme series of children's books, Duncan Hall has written an academic history book and an A Level politics textbook. Hall is currently also working on a crime novel for adults. Duncan Hall is one of Yorkshire's popular acoustic band The Hall Brothers.
