Donald Wahlberg: Author
Donald Wahlberg is an architect who divides his time between London and Rome. He was born in the USA and studied architecture at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He has worked on architectural projects in the USA, the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He worked in private practice on projects in the sectors of health, education, residential, urban development and building conservation. Additionally, he worked for 20 years with the public body, English Heritage, helping to repair and conserve historic churches and other buildings in England. He was married to a Roman architect, the late Maria Luisa Zaccheo, who inspired this publication, and to whom it is dedicated. In 2015 he published under the name Donn Wahlberg a book entitled The Ideal Villa, a study comprising his conceptual designs, plans, and study models for a dozen modern villa projects: ISBN 978-1-326-36681-0
