About
Dr Linda Campbell
Hi, I’m Dr Linda Campbell – a clinical psychologist, educator, consultant, and now a published author! I live in the beautiful Hunter Valley, Australia, where I spend my days working with neurodivergent people of all ages at NeuroKind, writing, teaching, and pulling weeds in my garden (which I actually find very relaxing). Originally from Stockholm, Sweden, I studied in London before settling in Australia. I'm also a mum to two amazing young adult children, wife to my best friend Byron, and the proud human of Milly, my scruffy Schnoodle who keeps me company during walks, hikes, and every writing session. With over 20 years of experience, I specialise in supporting individuals and families affected by 22q11.2 deletion and duplication syndromes. I co-founded 22qMinded in 2023 with my friend and colleague Dr Sasja Duijff – a project born from our shared commitment to provide educational tools, emotional support, and a sense of community for those navigating life with 22q. I believe in a strength-based, affirming approach that helps people understand themselves, show self-compassion, and engage more meaningfully in life. Whether I’m supervising psychologists, delivering workshops, or writing my next book, my passion lies in making knowledge accessible and empowering others to advocate for themselves and their loved ones. My first book, Chromosome Magic: The Science of 22q and You, is just the beginning – with more projects on the way!
