Dr. Papa J. Faal
Dr. Papa Faal is a Gambian author who spent most of his life in defending freedom. He served in the United States military for ten years and was deployed in Afghanistan. He is a former presidential aspirant in the 2021 Gambian general election. Dr. Papa Faal was instrumental in the 2014 attempt to dislodged the Gambian dictator Yahya Jammeh in effort to bring freedom to the Gambian people. Dr. Papa Faal holds a dual-masters degree in Technology Management and an MBA. He also holds a doctoral degree in Business Administration. Dr. Papa Faal wrote two riveting books : A Week of Hell, which depicts the 1981 attempted coup d'etat in the Gambia against the Government of Sir Dawda Jawara. In the book Dr. Faal narrates the ordeal many Gambians went through during the rebellion. The second book, A Stranger in Newborn depicts a Kanyan man's journey in search of a better life in the United States of America. Dr. Papa Faal is currently writing his third book on the 2014 attempted coup d'etat against Gambia's Yahya Jammeh. In the book Dr. Faal provides first hand narration of the events leading to the 2014 coups d'etat in which he himself took part.
