Eden Roe Barreto
Eden Roe has been writing poetry and children's stories since she was 8. She also enjoyed illustrating her own stories, having many published in school by her own teachers. This fun activity inspired Eden Roe to pursue a career as an author. Eden obtained a Bachelor's Degree from USF Sarasota-Manatee in 2011. She graduated Magna Cum Laude. Taking this experience, Eden continued to write and create art. At 30, Eden Roe was faced with a debilitating disease: RSD, also known as CRPS. This disease caused crippling pain, weakness, and numbness in her dominant right hand. She had to overcome this obstacle in order to function as a normal person once more, and during this daunting experience, Eden remembered her dream of writing and bringing imaginative tales to the world. She fought the pain and weakness to continue writing and illustrating. Soon, she discovered a way to self-publish her works, enabling her to attain her dream, reach her friends' hearts and eventually the world's
