Emma-Jane Leeson is the author behind the popular Johnny Magory Books series. A native of Co. Kildare, Ireland, EJ began writing the stories her father told her as a child when her daughter was born in 2004. EJ is passionate about Irish heritage and wildlife and incorporates those themes into every book. Whilst continuing with her full colour picture books for smaller children, in 2021 she published her first chapter book to keep with the audience who had grown up with Johnny Magory. She plans on releasing further chapter books and novels outside of the Johnny Magory brand in the coming years.
