Erin Alexander (Akofa Oyin) has over 30 years of experience in ecological design, cultural knowledge systems, and environmental education. She is an initiated Iyalocha of 22 years and a Master Feng Shui Consultant with a focus on the relationship between built environments, land, and human wellbeing. She is the founder of Funki Shui Design, a practice that integrates Feng Shui, geomancy, and African Diaspora cultural perspectives to inform approaches to environmental design and spatial wellbeing. Her work includes the development of educational materials, plant-based products, and learning resources centered on ecological awareness and sustainability. Erin is the creator of Nature Connect, an environmental education program that combines science, storytelling, and plant knowledge to support experiential learning about the natural world. She is also the founder of the Orisha Network for Issues on Land + Environment, which explores cultural and community-based approaches to ecological stewardship and land relationships informed by African Diaspora traditions.
