My teenage years were filled with high school classes and a dream of college. Although I had a natural gift when it came to accounting, I clung to the fact my future meant joining the military. I graduated from high school and waited for summer to end. Although, I passed the military exams, I turned the calendar each month counting the remaining days before my eighteenth birthday. The first week of October, I left for basic training at Lackland Field in Texas. At my permanent duty station, I worked at the WAF squadron. My biggest mistake, marrying a man I knew nothing about, the great part became my three children. We were married for thirty plus years. Durning those years, I attended college at night and worked as a full-charge bookkeeper. Receiving custody of my two grandchildren demanded more of my time. After our divorce, I continued taking writing classes. My dream, write my father's life story. My second marriage brought my dream of writing about my father's life a reality. I finished my first book, Never Forget An Enemy, and I'm editing my second book, A Promise Made, in the Legacy of Love Series.
