Annette Oquendo is the Director of her own dance school, Fine Steps Dance Studio, located in Woodland Park, NJ since 2006. She has enjoyed working with children for over 20 years both educationally and creatively. Developing after school programs for the youth and establishing a long lasting relationship with them is what she takes pride in doing. She also participated in the Mrs. New Jersey 2006 and enjoyed the confidence it gave her to strive for her dreams. Ava and Alexis first day of Ballet is her first book and a tribute to those young dancers who fear the idea of dance but once they’ve tried it, love it. She’s embarked on as a Pageant Coordinator, Event Planner, Author and soon a Film Director. She is a proud wife and mother and grandmother. Always giving God the glory, of allowing her to fulfill her dreams and helping others do the same.
