Hannah Dorthula Bartley II hails from Columbus, Ohio and served in the Army from 07 October 1997 to 27 August 2005 and has served in both Iraq (March 2005 – August 2006) and Afghanistan (November 2008 – October 2009) and is currently a DoD Civilian working with DISA. Hannah earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Studies with German and English Depths from Excelsior College, Albany NY (2006); her Associate in Arts with Honors in Foreign Language – German Emphasis from Monterey Peninsula College while stationed at the DLIFLC, Monterey, CA (1999). Her awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Ribbon, the Global War on Terrorism Service Ribbon, Iraqi Freedom Service Ribbon, the Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Tour Service Ribbon, and the Reserve Service Ribbon. Hannah is married to Michael A. Haas and has two children: Immanuel (24) and Carla Bartley (18).
