Hazel Tugbiyele is a 7th grade homeschooler, who lives with her family in Macungie, Pennsylvania. Hazel Tugbiyele spend most of her time reading and creating, so when she started writing at age 5, it's no wonder her earliest books, stuck together with masking tape and staples, were a success. Since then, Hazel has gone on to write more books, and this is her first published success. In her spare time, Hazel enjoys biking, acting, dancing, hanging out with friends, coming up with exciting new stories, and she is a history fanatic. (By the way, if you are confused about the two "Ellie the Elephant Shrew" books, the farthest one to the left is the 2nd edition book. Complete with Hazel's story and new fonts, colors and pictures, the 2nd edition is the way to go!)
