Vic grew up in Kenya He facilitates groups in ways that challenge and stimulate, while tapping into their collective experience, knowledge and wisdom, musing where others seek closure, questioning where others prescribe. Drawing on many years of senior management experience in exploration, design and construction in the oil industry, he entered the field of human resource management during his time with Shell in USA., Holland, Canada and Norway, during the turbulence of the 80’s. He joined Scottish Enterprise as an Advisor to the Oil and Gas Industry, achieving cultural changes in leading multi national organisations, including the implementation of restructuring and partnering agreements within that industry Vic then moved to freelance consulting in 12 countries spanning five continents, working for PDVSA in Venezuela and BP in the Caspian, Shell in Nigeria, Exxon in USA, ChevronTexaco in the UK and Agip in Kazakhstan - amongst others, largely in conflict resolution
