Sir Joshi, number 8 of 12 children, grew up in a humble valley in Upstate NY writing grim-dark poetry and fantasy novels, dreaming of one day becoming an adventurer. After attending college for English and discovering slam poetry, he translated his freestyle rap skills into freestyle poetry. After graduating he coached SUNY Geneseo's slam team through their 2015 CUPSI competition. He currently is author of 5 collections of poetry and founder of the Ineffable Project, a social experiment/performance art collective aimed at inspiring positive shifts.
